Abstract:

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping society. By addressing needs and expectations and influencing daily life situations, education provides a lens through which we can comprehend the true essence of society and justice. As educational frameworks evolve, so do the competencies and goals in preparing individuals for their roles. At the tertiary level, education significantly impacts the sociological landscape, shaping opinions, thought processes, and inclusive approaches within higher education institutions.

Educators, as key stakeholders, embody values and expectations that resonate with their students. Their attitudes and support foster collaboration and mutual understanding. Delving into education for social justice, we enhance awareness and promote meaningful integration of academic work among students and teachers at the university level. The topics presented mirror real-world teaching scenarios, bridging the gap between theory and practice for both academics and students.

Bio:

Jiří Kropáč, an assistant professor at Charles University, is deeply engaged in the field of education. His expertise spans various critical areas, including continuous professional development of students, academics, and newly qualified teachers. Jiří’s research endeavours extend to methodological exploration, particularly in the realms of action research, law, and technologies within the context of teachers’ practice.

His commitment to advancing education and empowering educators is evident through his work. Jiří also contributes to the academic community by teaching at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. His passion lies in fostering academic identity development, addressing social justice issues, and applying research tools to practical teaching scenarios. Additionally, Jiří delves into the legal aspects of cyberspace and cybercrime, making his contributions multifaceted and impactful.
