The project (no. 2020-1-PL01-KA203-082186) was funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The project was led by the Institute of Sociology at the University of Zielona Góra.
In addition to the lead institution, the consortium consisted of ten partners:
The map below illustrates the geographical distribution of the SoMoveED cooperation network.
The aim of the Social Education on the Move project was to implement and promote the ‘Mobile Social Education Model’ in higher education.
The consortium members exchanged experiences regarding the potential of mobile learning methods. The exchange was also inter-sectoral: alongside eight universities, two non-governmental organizations and one company specializing in educational services participated.
Over the three years of the SoMoveED project, seven in-person project meetings and more than two hundred online meetings were held. This collaboration allowed us to learn from each other and jointly produce several outcomes: three books, a short educational film, and an online course illustrating the possibilities of mobile methods. Notably, one of the outcomes was the modification of curricula at partner universities.
Below is a brief description of the project’s available outputs:
This publication (in Polish) offers further information and a script—a collection of lesson plans delivered by a team from the University of Zielona Góra and invited guests. Sinan Tankut Gulhan, then a visiting professor at UZ, and Alexandru Corpade, a student from the University of Alba Iulia in Romania and an Erasmus+ intern in the summer semester of 2023, were among the contributors. Importantly, the primary co-authors were students who participated in the “classes on the move”; their reflections and insights are included in the publication.
