We are pleased to announce that on April 22nd of this year, the employees of the Institute of Sociology at the University of Zielona Góra were awarded state decorations and the Rector's Award for 2025.
Agata Szymandera, M.A., was awarded the Gold Medal for Long Service – a token of appreciation for her many years of dedicated service to the university and our Institute.

PhD Anna Mielczarek-Żejmo received the Medal of the National Education Commission – one of the most important awards in the field of education, awarded for special contributions to education and upbringing

Assoc. Dorota Szaban, PhD, professor at the University of Zielona Góra, was honored with the Rector's Second Prize for Scientific Achievements.

PhD Justyna Nyćkowiak received the Rector's Second Prize for Scientific Achievements. 

Assoc. Beata Trzop, PhD received the Rector's Third Prize for Scientific Achievements.
