Tomasz Kołodziej, (Ph.D.), Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sociology, University of Zielona Góra. He obtained a PhD in social sciences in sociology in 2018. Research interests: eSport, sociology of politics, the role of the police in society, methodology and statistical methods in social sciences. As part of SoMovED, he takes up the subject of m-learning and gamification. Privately, a fan of Rock, Guy Ritchie, new technologies and classical (paper) books.


Graduate of Master's degree in Sociology at the University of Zielona Góra.
Graduate of The Ohio State Summer School in Social Sciences in Warsaw - implemented as part of the CONSIRT program by The Ohio State University and the Institute of Sociology and Philosophy of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Doctor of Social Sciences degree obtained in 2018 based on the thesis "Formal and informal determinants of the course of professional careers in the Police. Sociological analysis.".

Since October 2022, member of the Social Analytics and esports laboratory operating at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Zielona Góra.
Research interests:

sociology of esports, sociology of politics, sociology of dispositional groups, statistical analyses.
