Research Interests:
- sociology of social movements (which resulted in the dissertation concerning Polish anti-drug movement - MONAR);
- social space – cultural and social processes of adapting new space (processes of adapting new cultural and physical space among inhabitants of recovered territories);
- social economy;

- social dimension of transborder cooperation (participation in the cycle of conferences entitled Transbordering in Sociological Perspective; articles published in volumes of the same title);
 

Interests and Additional Information:
Amateur kayaking, mountain hiking.

  • Between 1987 and 1992 a member of the Youth-Movement for Counteraction of Drug addiction MONAR and during that time, participated in a training programme for prevention of drug dependencies.
  • Between 1992 and 1994 was a member of the Jowisz Association in Jelenia Góra.
  • Since 2016 a member of Fundacja Partycypacja (Foundation Participation).

Projects:

  • Project: "BOTTOM-UP – INNOVATIVE TOOLS OF CREATING PUBLIC SPACE" – taking part in international (Polish-Danish) project; training about the processes of the revitalization of public spaces. From 2013 till 2015.
  • Project: “TRUST BEYOND THE BORDERS” („Zaufanie ponad granicami-Vertrauen űber Grenzen hinaus”). Euroregion Spree-Neise-Bober (Guben-Gubin, Brandenburg and Lubuskie Region); period: from December 2012- to February 2014 (Grant no: 516/ FMP/12) - Polish-German project about transborder cooperation on the basis of Euroregion Spree-Neise-Bober; project with cooperation with the German partner: Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.

  • Project: "AMONG OTHERS BRINGING INTERCULTURAL AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATION TO HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS" – an international project implemented by the Foundation of Educational System Development and Polish-German Youth Cooperation. Role in the project: organizing the workshops for the students, taking part in the thematic seminars. From 2015 till now (2021).
  • Project: "SOCIAL EDUCATION ON THE MOVE" - Since 2020, one of the coordinators of a significant international strategic partnership, the activities of which are financed under the Erasmus + programme. The partnership includes organizations from 10 countries (8 universities, 2 NGO's, 1 SMEs). The project aims to change the forms of classes in universities by introducing mobile methods. The project started in 2020 and will be completed in 2023.   • Project "SILVER SMES. IDENTIFICATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF REGIONAL POLICIES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SILVER ECONOMY DERIVED OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE SMES IN GROWTH AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SPIRIT", launched in 2018 - planned end of the project in 2023. SILVER SMEs aims to improve the implementation and delivery of Regional Policies for SMEs competitiveness by building on significant opportunities arising from the Silver Economy (SE). My role in the project: Action Plan for Lubuskie Region about developing silver economy in the region.
