The aim of the Laboratory is to develop a modern standard of education for students of a new specialty in the field of Sociology, based on practical aspects of education. This will be enabled by cooperation with external institutions dealing with the issues of social revitalization: local authorities, self-government authorities and third sector organizations. The second objective is cognitive and scientific activities, organization of lectures, seminars and scientific conferences in the field of social revitalization. Activities related to participation in scientific research projects and establishing contacts in the local institutional environment are also planned, enabling systematic contact of the institute's scientific staff and students with experts. Another effect will be the organization of apprenticeships for sociology students in institutions dealing with social revitalization.
